No, you need to delete:

I deleted that line and it is still grayed out.

To answer your question, aside from the inability to unlock voltage control, the card is great. I sold my reference 6970 to buy this card and it was totally worth the higher price. My case doesn't have the worlds best air flow but still it is much quieter and runs cooler than reference.

Which version of AB are you using? Did you add the line to the main cfg file 'I confirm that I am aware' etc?

Do you have the boxes checked in the main settings for unlock voltage control and unlock voltage monitoring? If you do, then it looks like the 6970 DirectCu has different voltage regulators than the 5850 DirectCu, probably not surprising. If we can find out what they are on the 6970, I'm sure we could ask Unwinder, the creator of AB, to add them....

2.2.0 beta, and yes I added the main cfg stuff. I have all the boxes checked for unlocking voltage control and monitoring.

Well on my sapphire 6950 I used this modded MSI AB for voltage control

MSIAfterburnerVoltUnlock

look that up

And I'm using Sappires OC program called TRIXX, because its sliders can go way past 840/1325, 1200/1800

but TRIXX won't let me adjust voltage

No, and it probably never will. As Alexey Nicolaychuk, creator of MSI Afterburner, had said many times, they cater to reference and MSI products. Third-party controllers (other than being supported by MSI) won't be added to MSI Afterburner.

That doesn't mean you're SOL. You can download the GPU Tweak tool from Asus which works about the same as MSI Afterburner (even looks similar too).

CRAP!!!! ab worked on my 5850 directcu and was great. Smartdoc makes crazy lag in games and it is just no good. I get 960-50/1540 stock volts so I am not complaining.

ps your link goes no where
