LG e2250v is pissing me off

I am unable to go anywhere higher than 1280x720, really ***.

It was working fine a few weeks ago 1080p and everything, untill a recent virus attack. I formatted C: and reinstalled.

Now my windows thinks my monitor is a 'Non-pnp display', after installing the drivers for the monitor, it now calls it 'LG e2250v(HDMI)' but has not helped anything at all. I am stuck on 59hz and have to force it in Nvidia Control Panel for it to actually work at my native resolution which is 1920x1080 60hz...

The most stupid thing of all, my Nvidia Control Panel calls the monitor 'Digital Display', when before the virus attack it fully recognises the monitor as 'LG e2250v'. And also, it thinks my HDMI cable is a DVI. When even my SOUND drivers can recognise the HDMI...

I am so pissed off at this now, and I've tried everything I know of, reinstalling drivers, reinstalling windows, and reinstalling graphics drivers...

Hmm, maybe you were using older vga drivers before that worked? Really weird that it isn't picked up correctly.
