planning on upgrading to 6950, how are the drivers?

Thread Starter
I had 2 4850 way back when it first came out and tried to xfire them. For some crazy reason I could not get the Xfire to work correctly. I believe the reasons were driver issues. After a solid week of trying to fix the issue I gave up and swore to go back to the green side on my next card. I sold one 4850 and just stayed with the other one. Well I was bent and sold on buying a 570gtx but after debating the reviews and benchies...

6950 is close to 570 in perfermance (mayb a few % less?)
260 $avg vs 340$

6950xfire vs 570xfire is really close also

I cannot justify almost 100$ difference just for a small % gain.

So the question is... how are the drivers for 6950s now? anyone have problems or issues? I would imagine very few issues because there are always a few cases but my experience with the 4850 drivers was that many at the time was having issues with it. Thanks guys

Drivers are fine, I'm using 11.1 with latest profiles.

I have used these drivers with 1 and now Xcrossfired 6950's and they are good for me. No problems AFAIK.

I agree that the 570's are overpriced.
