AMD x2 220 cooling question ...

Thread Starter
I consider buying a new PC for a friend of mine :

AMD x2 220
http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K10/AM...20OCK22GM.html

What cooling would be best , i have found some bargains ,all on a price around 35$ ( tight budget :S ) :

Coolermaster HYPER 212 PLUS
http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/prod...roduct_id=2923

ASUS Lion Square
http://uk.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=6IiMTbYWUsh13gnl

ASUS Royal Knight
http://uk.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=rhFHJ1cMpDgMPAng

Thermalright Ultra-120A
http://www.thermalright.com/new_a_pa...ler_u120a.html

ZALMAN CNPS10X Flex
http://www.zalman.com/Eng/product/Pr...ad.asp?idx=373

My friend is very keen on overclocking so if someone can offer me a good mother board ( for around 85$ ) i would be very thankful

I would get the Hyper 212+ or Zalman out of those. Is the Scythe Mugen 2 available to you? It goes for around $35 - $40 here in the U.S. and is better.

Not the best CPU choice. Why use the money to buy a cooler to overclock a low end cpu rather than buying a better one to begin with?

Hyper 212+ will be plenty for that cpu. I'm running an Athlon II X2 250 with the Scythe Big Shuriken in my HTPC currently.....loads at ~30C.
