Headphone Amp for ATH-700's

I have had my pair of A700's for a good 2 years now. I always wanted to get a headphone amp for mine, but never got around to it. I was just practicing some guitar and was hooking my headphones up to it. I decided to play the song as well to play along with it and then it hit me. I am using an amp now...

I went straight to playing some dub step through the amp to my headphones. Let me just say this, i have been missing out those past two years. The bass in these things are just amazing.

Now I have my mind set on finding and buying a small amp. Doesn't have to be portable, but it would be nice. Any suggestions?

you're better off buying something like a Xonar DG to replace your onboard than amping onboard. If you can afford better, then get better.

I only own a laptop and i was planning on using the amp with my laptop and mp3 player.

If this is for your laptop, then the recommendation is either to get a USB DAC (basically a sound card in a box) or if you want, a small portable amp for your MP3 player.

Best option is probably gonna have to be portable for me.

USB Dac is what you need not an amp. Your headphones have little to no impedence so an amp is utterly pointless.

Try this
