sigh lol, so what if you are trying to reach high clocks for benching? Would the motherboard choice be different then?

Uh? So if I put on the deluxe a gtx590, it *must* run at 16x and the second pci-e slot goes automatically at 4x?
Or you mean that it wont work with two 590s?

I need the second slot for raid controller, possibly at 8x.

You lose the 2nd slot because the 590 will use up all the lanes leaving just the 3rd slot with 4x. If you stick your raid card in the 2nd slot you'll be running the 590 at 8x which is 4x/4x per card. This should be avoided.

sh-it! I didnt know dual gpu cards used double lanes.
This leaves the WS on top of my list.

It's a solid board and it has a lot of flexibility with all the extra lanes. Btw, there's an openbox at newegg for 200 if you're the daring type.

Overseas shipping (which they dont do) would cost like $100. We have good prices for Asus products in EU btw.

I'm trying to verify compatibility and performance of the LSI controller in 4x slot. So i'm keeping both the deluxe and the ws in the list.
