loop flow will this work?

Pump>CPu out>CPU in >Rad>SLI>Res>Pump will this work? or bottom one

Or Pump>Cpu IN>Cpu out Rad>Sli>res>pump

So the flow would go from Res to the pump then to CPU then in to the rad then back into the SLI and then flow back into the res and from the res into the pump to complete the loop


Or do you need to connect 1 end of the pump to the Rad directly before going to any blocks?

not ideal.
In the order you have now, the water is heated by 2xgpu (sli) and the pump (little bit) before going to your cpu.

I would reccomend
res-pump-rad-cpu-sli-res

Also make sure that the res is located above the pump. Pump is preferrably the lowest part of the loop.

Loop order really doesn't effect much. Just have the res feeding the pump and everything else done whichever way looks best/is most efficient with hosing.

Loop order aside from having the res before the pump has virtually no effect on temperatures as long as you have a decent flow rate, the water temperature in different parts of the loop won't vary by much at all. Whatever lets you use the least amount of tubing is the best.

Here's what's up


I have a 800D I mounted the RX360 rad uptop.


I have a I and H 275MM res it's mounted in the motherboard compartment.

Below that where the PSU is there's a Swiftech MCP35X pump.


Here's the thing.

I will take the res and tube it into the top of the Pump.

The side port of the pump will go behind where the cable management is and come out either to go into the CPU Out hole Or if i Mount the EK Supreme block upside down into the CPU IN. From the CPU then I'll hit the Radiator and then from the Radiator to the GPu's and from the GPU';s back into the Res.

I could change it a bit by having the pump to the Rad then the Rad to CPU and CPU to The SLI.

but I'd prefer to stick to the clean look of having the bottom pump out go directly into the CPU and then the CPU to the Radiator and the radiator to the Graphics and then back into the res.

one point to add is that if you had 2 rads the order rad>cpu>rad>sli would be ideal imo..

Going from the pump to the CPU is fine, but you should go to the CPU in not the CPU out, the block is not symmetrical and performance will suffer if the water flows into the CPU out instead of the CPU in.

At this point it's just going from Pump >Rad then Rad >CPU in and CPU out >SLI >SLI Res >res Pump and completse the loop

Vs

The Pump out into CPU IN and CPU out to Rad and Rad to SLI.




Is it alright if I mount the EK block upside down lettering just to have the IN port closer to the front of the case? I see no difference other than visual ?
