I haven't seen that board at Tiger Direct lately. Maybe they sold them out. Of course after I post this I go there and it comes up. Oops, I should have checked first.

I have the Asus M4A88TD V EVO/USB 3 and love it. Realize that if your going to want to do any hardcore gaming you'll have to get a video card but you always will need to do that. as for me the system works well and allows me some time for a price drop on a video card I want while still having an expandable mobo.

I think the express gate os is crap, but that just my opinion. The turbo evo allows for light ocing in windows (not great with voltage changes but use bios for real ocing). It runs oced ram, and I think its sexy.

Yeah I wanted that board first off but got the EVO M by mistake, so I tried again and got the M4a88T M Evo no Sata 6b/s on it !!! So I got this GTD PRO even better loooking than both the previous ones, Ive just finished putting it in had to go find a 4 to 8 pin CPU power adapter for got its an 8 pin! Its all installed looking good got it OCled to 3.8 and the Ripjaws flying at 787/24 @ 1704 Im going to get a decent PSU then go for 4ghz + OC...

Like you that express gate is a rubbish gimmick when you can boot cold into Firefox in 25 seconds!

Cheers

I just looked up your board, it looks like a nice one. I especially like the side mounted sata ports. How does the alignment of your pci slots work out? I also like the pipeline on your mosfet.

Hi they line up like these pics, With the GPU in top pciE slot Ive lost the small pci slot from the top, I have a USB3 card in the small pci slot under the GPU. Under is a free PCIE slot then two usual size pci slots. I have the sound card in top of those for now. A second GPU card in Xfire would lose the pci card below it and the sound card would have to go in bottom one.

Im thinking of moving the Corsair rad and fans over into the optical bays, so the left sideof board is more visible..

New modular PSU next so can tidy wires up!
