Universities are spying on me

Well guys, I installed PeerBlock, and found out that universities all over the USA world (Taiwan, Quebec!) are connecting to my computer regularly. Even the MIT.

I hardly believe those are viruses, but why in the world would my computer need to connect to the Taiwan Academic Network?

See screenshot

What is even more creepy is the fact that it did not connect to universities that are not in the USA only a couple of days ago.

Edit: I'm not paranoid, I actually think that it's quite lulzworthy

No one's spying on you, just servers you've hit while meandering throughout the internet. Somehow, sometime, you went on websites that had something to do with one of these hosts.

My god your avatar is annoying. Right Click, block element, add filter. Using Chrome. I saw someone say you couldn't do that (in the Chrome 10 thread). In yo face.

That's pretty funny, though. Why Universities? o.O
