LED monitors are only LED-backlit; they aren't actually LED-type monitors. IPS is generally better since most LED-backlit monitors have TN panels, but if I remember properly there are one or two LED-backlit IPS monitors either already out there or at least being worked on.

On the 'egg LG IPS226V Black 21.5" 8ms IPS Panel. Can't wait until their 24" comes in stock. I've been holding off on the Dell Ultrasharp 24" for so long.

Thanks for putting that in plain English Chimp...

I was having troubles following some of the post in here, not being aware of the terminology etc.. So, I guess I need thoroughly study this subject some more, seems like there is a lot more to monitor that meets the eye...

Thank you all for helping to educate me on monitors some, seems like I got more to learn it seems...
