Thanks for all your suggestions. I guess i'll go ahead and buy it.

Instead of getting it on steam, i can now get Crysis 2 and BF3 for 22$ as well. I am going to get both.

Since when were these things invented by COD? And I suppose if the maps were open and had vehicles you would call it a Battlefield clone? Stop making useless comparisons.

I played the Crysis 2 demo and because of the nanosuit it plays very differently to COD. It holds its own and stands out as an individual. But I am looking forward to the SP campaign anyway. The MP is just a cherry on top.

Personally I'd pass.
I'm going to laugh once the reviews say it's decent yet most communities will not be pleased with what's presented.
Maybe I have some hope left that the final product will be different at least graphically. I just cant believe Crytek would put out a game that really looks like this.

I read they have 2 teams working on this one for PC one for Consoles. If the Graphics are released that looks like the demo I will no longer support Crytek.

Point is that EA is trying to kill COD. You don't kill it by copying it, you kill it by making a better game, something I believe they achieved with the first Crysis games. All they needed to do was improve on the MP side and add DirectX11 while continuing the story, and the game would be a huge success on all platforms.

But no, they essentially cloned one of the worst game series of today, to appeal to that generation (the xbox kiddies) while downgrading the graphics and not producing an adequate PC demo. An SP demo would have been much preferred. Because that way half of the things people are whining about wouldn't matter, save for a few (USB headsets not working etc)

Get my drift?
