Oh wow...this is so...awful. My friend just got back from there about two days ago, and he was just north of Chiba which is right on that coast. I can't even begin to imagine what that must be like...

Its said that japan is the most prepared country for this kind of desaster, I.E. Early warning systems, powerplant protection, railway Evac, ECT ECT

holy shift! i feel bad for everyone in japan right now. it makes me think about the whole tsunami incident in thailand. my girlfriend was going to the beach that day, but fortunately because of what I'd call a stroke of divine intervention, they were forced to stay in the countryside. Few hours later... tsunami hits.
