Thank god for Japan. Imagine the country asleep while this happened?
a tsunami comes in a swept up an entire prefecture at night time when everybody is sleeping is just catastrophic.
The most casualities will come from the tsunami instead of the quakes since see how Japans building infrastructure is pretty stout. The rural area near the coast is going to need a lot of redevelopment.
if anybody elses watches anime, this earthquake reminds me of Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. Sad anime, and it shows how much damage a 8.0 hitting Tokyo can do even though todays quake hit the coastal areas more.Edited by RotaryKnight - 3/11/11 at 1:24am
