GTX 480 EVGA backplate leaking grease?

Thread Starter
Ok so I have a galaxy GTX 480 and I purchased the high flow bracket and backplate for my card and I have had them installed for a while now. I was testing my cards with MSI Kombuster and I noticed my Galaxy card was getting pretty hot so I decited to pull it out and take off the backplate to clean out the dust and I noticed grease all over the foot print of my GPU and the memories. I then looked at the pad on the bottom of the backplate and i could tell it was what was leaking. Not sure if I should worry or not. I want to clean it off. It should be fine if I use thermal paste remover right? here are some picts.

It's the thermal pad... not a big deal but you can clean it off for peace of mind.

It's a big thermal pad and that type tends to be oilier (but better than the fiber ingrained ones).
