Installing android and wp7 on the hd2 (sd/ram) - Page 2

quadrant scores mean nothing the majority of the time, I'd rather have a low quadrant score with my phone being usable for daily tasks than the reverse.

oh and BTW, get rid of that task killer, negatively impacts android now.

I don't have it anymore. i am running CM7, that was when i was testing CM6.
My phone is blazing fast. Compared to all other 1ghz phones, my phone keeps up just fine.

For usa phones.
1) Backup your info on your phone that you might need
2) charge phone 100%
3) connect and SYNC phone to PC and then run this EXE
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611433
4) connect and SYNC phone to PC and then run this EXE
http://www.multiupload.com/QP0IWGY42F
5) connect and SYNCH phone to PC and then run this EXE
http://cotulla.pp.ru/leo/Android/DFT...LDR113_DAF.rar
6) Your phone will restart after each install. After step 5, press the 'Volume Down' button to goto Option 5: USB Flasher and press the 'Call' button (far left of the 5 hardware buttons at the bottom).
7) Select ANY of the ROM's you think you'd fancy from this forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=928
And then run the DAF.exe or INSTALL.exe or whatever file is in the ROM you download.
8) Let it install.

Congrats, you've got a phone that's now x10 times as good.

It's easier to just go to XDA. They spoon feed it to you there.

That guide I just posted on the post above is as simple as you'll ever get it...

Also I recommend pongster as a rom...

woops sorry.

I've been running WP7 and MIUI dual booting for awhile. It was easy, but then I've been running Android on my HD2 since Darkstones first android rom.

I've been saying this for awhile though, the HD2 really is the greatest phone ever made.
