I remember more people complaining that Just Cause 2 was only DX10 than people being happy about it, but now eveyone is acting like DX9 should die and everyhting switch to DX11 just to cater to the very small minority like us on OCN, that is pure hypocrisy.
I think it's great if a game uses DX11 but it's really pretty low on my list when it comes to choosing my next game to play, unfortunately we have a lot of graphic whores here who rate and play their games only because of pretty visuals.
It's not about it having DX11 or not having DX11.
It's about them patching a pretty big feature that's very integrated into the core functioning of the game AFTER release.
When a game is released, it should be finished.
If a dev finds some bugs once the consumers get their hands on it, okay, patch it. If a dev wants to put in time after release on some DLC, then fine.
But to still be working on core aspects of the game engine after it's gone gold? That's ridiculous, they should have delayed it and released it when it's actually finished...
