Here is the set up..
Computer:
1 XP
2 Win 7
3 Win XP\\ Win 7 64

The issue I am having is with any XP system seeing my win7 64 system yet the same system running XP works np. Im sure its got to be a setting or service in win 7 64 that has changed. At one point I had all systems being able to access the default shared folders and comp 3 specified folders, ie movies, music... now only win 7 systems can access these folders on my win 7 64 and I cant seem to solve this problem.......
Win 7 64 can see but not access the XP system (through the router as a connected device)

When you say it can see the xp machine.

Do you see the Share? or you can only ping the box.

Again your are trying to access data on an xp machine from windows 7?

Do you get access denied?

The Win 7 64 has the data shared by all other computers. The win XP machine doesnt even see the Win 7 64, but does when its booted into XP so I know its a Win 7 issue.

I was getting access denied from the win 7 machine to the Win 7 64 machine but changing the require passwords setting resolved that... I thought Win 7 made this process easier!!
Also my smart phone can access the Win 7 machine but not the Win 7 64 machine...
