Thanks. Are you sure because it's 55 euro or more. (I was wrong about the price before) smile.gif

Uses same chip as the ST/X, but doesn't have the amplifier, which you don't need for the 558s. It's better than the DG, DS, XtremeMusic/Gamer. It's better music wise than the Fatal1ty, but arguably not as great as it in games, but it's also a lot cheaper than the Fatal1ty. smile.gif

Thanks a lot I'll get the DX!!

One more question: should I get the 558 with a zalman clip on mic or the 350 headset from sennheiser? maybe something Entirely else? remember I can't get ad700's or h555's smile.gif

Yeah, that sucks man. I wouldn't grab the PC350s. Waste of money for the sound quality you're getting. Sure it's convenient, sure the build quality is respectable..but overall, if you're about the sound you get from them, it's not worth 150+

If you can't get AD700s, you're probably best off getting the 558s for gaming.

Hmm I can't get it cheaper than the DX so I think I'll stay with Simca's reccomendation smile.gif.

Thanks a lot to everybody who responded. My headset broke for the fifth time or something and I want decent quality for a change. So I appreciate the support.

Sennheiser 558 for 118 euro and the Xonar DX for 54 euro. total including shipping 180 euro. Sure hope it's worth the money biggrin.gif. Ordering now.

Sorry for double posting but I just noticed something. Simca, you recommended the titanium HD at first. I can get the non-HD 'normal' Creative X-Fi Titanium for 65 euro. Should I still go for the DX? Last question, promise smile.gif

Titanium HD is a whole lot better than the normal Titanium, but the Titanium is either on par with the DX or slightly better...at least in gaming. The Titanium is pretty much the Fatal1ty but without the shield or plastic bit over it..

It's up to you. DX, Titanium. Both are about the same. Maybe the Titanium is slightly better in gaming. DX is cheaper. Up to you.

Yep, the Titanium HD is better than the usual Creative X-Fi card.

I think I still prefer my Xonar D1 for music though, strangely enough.
