Asus GTX 580 Direct CU II w/gigabyte UD9

Thread Starter
I'm looking to do 2 of these bad boys in SLI. I have a HAFX case and a UD9 board. It looks possible to do this and have a slot in between the cards. My question does anyone have this board setup? I know its a long shot.

Trying to see if any connectors get in the way...

I installed 2 580's DCU2 on an Asus R3E ... it was a tight fit but it was okay ...
I still think that these are not the best cards for SLi And the overclock i got was nothing extremely amazing! I got 970Mhz core speed... i saw reference card going higher ...

The cooler on the other hand, it's amazing, but be aware that you must have some space between cards for the second card to "breed" ... these coolers are great but need some space to move air...

No cables were in the way ...
But going to the UD7 ... i was not able to install this card due to spacing between slots :x

... 465 for Physx with 2 580 on sli won't do squat imo ... i think ppl just over value physx importance... unless you are and die hard mafia 2 fan ...

But... if you can get your 580 SLi to run 970Mhz core ... you will have an amazing SLi setup... so go for it
