Hello, I bought a i5 2500k with a Ga-P67A-UD3 combo deal at Micro Center back on Jan,30th.. I decided to overclock and so i went into bios and changed the multiplier to 44x saved and left bios .. iv ran prime95 over night for a good 9 hour's no error's.
Only thing thats bugging me is my temp's.. Do they look ok?

Using core temp 0.99.8 at 1.272volt's

core0: high 56
core1: high 65
core2: high 69
core3: high 64

Fill in your system specs so we can see what cooler you are using.

But what cooler are you using?

I'm not entirely up to date with the 32nm temps, but I do see quite a difference between all your core's temps! Are you sure the heatsink is seated correctly?

I usually have an ~8C different between my hottest and coolest core.

I'm wouldn't be worried about the hottest core being 69C, but the 13C difference seems too much.

Maybe try reseating the heatsink.

Use this - so you don't have to repost in each thread

At 1.2v those temps look high - my 2500k at 4.4 hits around 50ish at the hottest core with an H50.

What tim did you use?

To be honest I'm still learning how to Overclock. What's strange is in bios my Vcore is 1.320v .. Though while in windows doing a prime 95 test my CPU id tells me my vcore is 1.272v .. All i did was change the multiplier to 44x and saved.. Left all the volt's in bios on AUTO. and it just changed it to 1.320v from what it say's under the M.I.T area in bios.

That is called vdroop - and is normal. Did your cooler come with TIM already applied? Or did you apply it yourself? If you applied it yourself how did you do it?
