Important graphics card question/issue! please help!

Thread Starter
I have really two questions, the first one is every so often when im playing a video game, more specifically World of Warcraft, I notice lines going across the screen, and then they go away. Now it doesnt happen all the time, but at only certain times. What would be causing that??

The other question is I want to use the HDMI port on my graphics card and the port on the Monitor, however when i go to plug it in it doesnt come up on the screen. But the VGA works fine. Now is there a setting you have to do or shouldnt to get HDMI it just be you plug in the cord and it will automatically show up? Please anyone got any info, am I wrong about that or??

Thanks for all the help!

the lines sound like artifacts. if they are then your card is either overheating or dying (or both).
