I figured, but don't have it. I seem to have tossed out my box. I can pull the fan off this weekend and let you know.

Added some profile info. Will check my processor batch later tonight.

In the Intel documentation for DP67BG board has almost no info about the bios settings. However, the documentation for Extreme Tuning Utility has the following:
Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology allows the system to dynamically adjust processor voltage and core frequency. This can result in a decrease in average power consumption and heat production. This feature must be enabled for Intel Turbo Boost Technology to be enabled and engaged.
So if I'm overclocking via the turbo boost settings, I need Enhanced SpeedStep turned on, and if this is on the voltage is going to be adjusted dynamically. I guess I'll turn this off and try to o/c via the core clock.

Sorry for the delay - life has been happening.

Batch is L048A937. Somebody on Xtreme forum has a processor from this batch at 5.1GHz. I can't get mine to run Prime95 at over 4.4 - tried on two different MBs.

It runs at 4.4GHz just fine with stock settings. I tried up to 1.32V at 4.5GHz with LLC at Ultra High on an Asus board - still no go. I can't believe it would need any more than this if it's stable at 4.4 with default settings. Seems to be a hard wall at 4.5 for this chip.

I can try that - I've played with all the voltage settings per the conventional wisdom that's been posted for the P8P67 boards specifically - there's a lot of into out there and tried most options with which people have had success.

Will try again with more voltage and see what happens. I'm not worried about high voltage. I just could not believe it would need more than that to go from 4.4 to 4.5.

Enable PLL overvoltage to pass multiplier walls. Only works for a few MP's higher than the wall with it disabled.

Interesting. Others are saying to turn down PLL to get better overclocking - I left mine alone. Will trying increasing this and report back. It'll be a day or two. Thanks much.
