Your cart doesn't come up by simply pasting the hyperlink, but the Asus one sucks for the $$ - the processor is old, video card is several generations old for a graphics card - if you really want a 17 inch laptop then something such as this : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834115990 would be a much better deal for the $$ - look in the 15" section, you get much better for the $$

We cannot see your Sager shopping cart, you will have to list the specs manually.

The refurbished Asus seems really.... old. A Core 2 Duo, DDR2 memory, and a GTX 260M are pretty outdated. Maybe I'm off base but I couldn't see spending $750 on a refurbished laptop with 2-3 year old parts.

I posted the Sager specs, and from the comparison on my own and your comments on the Asus. I believe I am going to go with the Sager.

You are comparing a Core 2 Duo a Sandy Bridge i5... there is no comparison, obviously go with the Sager.

The g72 has the better gpu. So you'll see better fps in most games on the g72. But it's refurbed, using ddr2 and an old architecture.. So I would get the sager for that price, as its new, and will be a lot better for other tasks besides gaming, especially with optimus.
