Quick Disconnects

Thread Starter
I am building a new water-cooled computer. I would like to use Koolance quick disconnects on the cpu and gpu blocks only.
Please confirm that my choice of fittings are correct. All threads are G 1/4. All tubing is 1/2" id x 3/4" od.
4-Koolance- VL3N-MG, (2 for the cpu block, and 2 for the gpu block).
4-Koolance- VL3N-F13-19S for the tubing.
That's all. I already have all the other fittings (all compression), tubing, radiator, pump and reservoir I'll need for the build. I think. Have I missed something or do I only need to order these Koolance QD fittings?
I searched this forum before posting and about all I could find was some totally needless remarks about Koolance KITS. Somehow, ThermalTake was mentioned quite a bit which had nothing to do with some Koolance fittings which was all the OP was asking about. Same here. Fittings, not some kit.
My tubing, fluid and compressions are Feser. My pump and reservoir are Swiftech. The radiator is a 3x120 Koolance I bought new from Performance PC's eBay listing. I may buy a Black Ice instead. My case is a Corsair 700D. The fans are 6 Aerocool Sharks in push/pull. One i7-2600K and one EVGA GTX 580 FTW Hydro Copper 2 is all that I'm going to cool, on an ASUS P8P67 DELUXE, which I ordered from the Egg as I am typing this. I've completely given up on the Maximus IV I wanted, they're just too scarce and I'm burned out on waiting for one.
Does this system and loop sound about right? While the GPU won't need OCing the CPU is definitely going to get more than a little OCN-burn!
TIA,
k1

I use them and like them but I just use them to make my res/pump combo easy to remove from the system for draining

if you want to do that you might want right (90 degree) angle for the cpu and gpu if not your looking at having 5-7 inches sticking straight out
unless you put some 90's after those fitings but then your looking at 4-6 inches

Thanks for your response Satogd! Your right about the 90 degree fittings. Hopefully I'll be plumbing it next week so I can determine the final routing and any other fitting I may have overlooked. I really appreciate the heads-up.
