Help increasing my clock

Thread Starter
Currently running "stable" 4.7 Ghz on my i5 2500k at 1.376V, getting around 60-70 C temps after 4 hours of Prime95.

I'd like to reach 5 Ghz if possible, though i'm not sure if I can manage it with my setup.

(Cooler is a H70/case HAF X/1.5v Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz RAM).

Any help how to increase my overclock would be much appreaciated!

How much voltage should I try next for? Any suggestions would be nice.

Have you already tried hitting 5GHz and failed, or have you just not gone that high yet? Your volts are rather high already, so you might want tosee how far they can take you before you bump them up farther.

EDIT: Not sure if you've already been following this, but a long guide for SB OCing is always handy to check against

I've tried 5 Gz at 1.425 V and failed, crashed when I started prime. Not sure how much voltage I can give to be "safe"?

1.52v is the max safe voltage but I dont like trying to pull a cpu to its very limits. Try downclocking your ram a bit, and there are so many other voltages to play with.
