Intel core i5 2500K/i7 2600K batch guide - Page 7

Anyone else have a 2600K batch #3047A929? Mine is at 4.5 GHz and although I tried 4.8 successfully, my cooler sucks so I couldn't leave it there. frown.gif Maybe after I get an NH-D14 ^.^

Does anyone have matching batches? or did they just make a million different batches?

to be honest vision most people are saying that with SB it doesnt matter what batch you have as no two are the same..however NONE of these people have evidence to back up why they're saying that...
I'm still interested in seeing if there's any pattern to overclocks/voltages people achieve with different batches. Perhaps the option to sort the list by batch # would reveal something once more people join.

That has a load of batch numbers and overclocking results in there. Just do CTRL + F.

I got my i7 2600k today and it's Batch# 3104C326 and was made in Costa Rica.

finally got my windows 7 working so firing up the i7. gonna let it run prime all night at 42x multiplier 4.2 ghz, with 212+

see what happens...

also going to let crysis 2 download on origin overnight, hope all goes well tongue.gif

/edit pc fell asleep tongue.gif

running now, max heat test in prime is maxing out at 60C with my 212+ @~1600rpm

and auto volt is at 1.056 which seems really low, but i am not complaining biggrin.gif
my motherboard is set to keep my power draw at 95W under load, which may be why it is throttling such a low voltage, but it is running stable. the quick tune function would take me right to 4.2Ghz, but i just used the multiplier.
