NEC P401? Why so cheap?

Thread Starter

So, I tried to look up this monitor on newegg, found 0 reviews, in stock, price is like 1500$ + shipping.

But why is this on amazon for $320
?
It says im saving: $1,678.96 (84%)

Is this a scam or something? Does this monitor actually suck?

40 inches for $320 seems so unrealistic, I just keep thinking I will get cheated somehow.

I know NEC is pretty big company, reliable brand too.

I looked everywhere for a review, and no site has one.
They all list it for sale though. Like Tigerdirect, newegg, etc. etc
even CNET has a page for it, but 0 reviews, 0 likes, 0 dislikes, 0 everything

After more research, I am still confused:
What is AV?
AVT?
Difference?

It's targeted for displaying advertisements apparently: http://www.nec.com.au/products/displ...c-display.html

Maybe the price is a mistake. Doesn't hurt to ask the seller, who has 94% positive feedback...

They have a review thats kinda shocking... don't see NEC's that low... ever?... 40inch's of beauty at that?

I mean I personally don't want a 40" 1080 for my computer, too low res.

but still makes one hell of a TV
