I ended up having this issue 3 times tonight, I tried to run the game in DX9 instead of 11 and it didnt happen again. Might give that a try?

Go to your settings.ini in the BFBC2 folder under C:\\Users\\"Cant remember from here"
Open settings with notepad
Change DXsetting from auto to 9 (You can try 10 maybe?)

I tried changing it to DX9 but all the texture renderings were messed up.

Have you tried playing on a non-punkbuster server to see if that is the problem?

Seen reports about a conflict with PunkBuster and MSI's Afterburner. I'm gonna reinstall PunkBuster and turn off Afterburner and see if that works.

I can confirm after about an hour of gameplay that the conflict appears to be between MSI Afterburner and Punkbuster (for me).
