Gigabyte Gigabyte EX58 LGA1366, clicking after overclocking on startup - Page 2

Im glad to hear it. I used to use a coolermaster V8, coolermaster V6 and Zalman CNPS10X Flex. I finally bit the bullet for watercooling and I will never go back. I was afraid of leaks and I go to LAN parties so I was afraid but now Im not worried. The tubes go over the barbs so tightly that even without a clamp no water is gonna come through.. with a clamp on there its zero worry. Temps are unmatched. Unbelievable. You dont even need an expensive rad. I used a $39.99 Swiftech MCR220 and it kept temps under 50 degrees 100% load at 4.4GHz when with my CNPS10X Flex with two 90CFM Scythe fans I could not keep it under 80 at 4.0GHz and 4.4GHz would hit 90 right away with load so.. Watercooling FTW!!! (I have since bought an extra triple XSPC RS360 rad and will be adding my video cards and maybe chipset). Its addicting and looks so so cool.

Thanks for that info, I also run that same coolermaster cooler, V8. Right now lowered vcore to 1.25 and temps don't hit more than 70c. So still hot but not as hot. I'll look into the swiftech system and probably go with that. Will def want to get it cooling my nvidia 580 too. No problem with the rep, thanks again for helping me not worry about killing my mobo lol.
