I think it's safe to use worm screw clamps (hose clamps). The reason some people discourage them is because they look kind of "ugly" in an otherwise nice setup. Compression fittings are very safe too and they look nice but you'll be paying $2+ for each one.

ID= inner diameter. You will be seeing barbs that say they're 3/4" so you need a tube that has a 3/4" ID. You just need to know what thread size your radiator accepts for the inlet and outlet holes (easily identified and advertised) and you will also need to know what your CPU block will accept. It's fairly easy to get that information just by reading the parts description when you're adding them to your cart.

and also how much tubing is needed? I bought 7 feet of it?

I got 15ft for my most recent setup cause I always like having extra on hand. I probably used about 8 of it. As long as you are careful cutting and measuing your ok.

As to the block grab it if you can that is a steal and probably on super clearance there or something lol.
