A few starter questions.

So I did both the guide for Uniclient here http://www.overclock.net/folding-hom...icore-cpu.html than did HFM guide here http://www.overclock.net/folding-hom...hfm-guide.html

Now when I start F@h shortcut it starts and I can slowly see the counter go up. But nothing moves on the HFM thing. Just sits there with a burgundy color. Is there something wrong or is this normal. Just trying to optimize for win 7

Well first of all if you're folding on the 2500k then you shouldn't use the unicore client. Switch to SMP and you can later move on to bigadv after you finish 10 smp units with a passkey. Here's the guide.

As long as you designate the right folder in HFM, it should start calculating ppd after 1% of the unit is done and turn green after 3%.
