Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P

Thread Starter
Gonna be running Phenom II x4 945 w/ Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P so my question is...can I update the BIOS to F10C (latest) w/o any problems and run the 945 or just update to F8 like stated on the CPU list so I don't run into any complications?

F8 should be fine, F10C may bring some additional features though. I don't have the DDR2 variant of this board so I'm not entirely sure.

I've got the F10a on mine and it is the DDR2 version with a 1055t. Running well

I may flash to F10A and see...if not reflash to the F8.

The stock BIOS on this board does not support my 945...so do I flash the BIOS first then do a fresh install of W7 since I am installing a new board with old CPU and HDD?
