Gaming Mice and pad for me?

Thread Starter
So I am having troble deciding what mouse and pad to get. I have heard good things about razer but the 2 mice i had a while ago (DA/Coperhead) the finish came off of them. A while ago I had a logitech g500 and loved it, but I sold it (bad idea). I had one of thoze rocket fish speed control mats but sold that with the mouse. So right now I have a logitech m505(i know it like a baby mouse) and some crap cloth pad that is extremely worn. I dont want to go cloth if they are gonna wear out really fast and I would like to get a nice gaming mouse. I play all kinds of games. I have seen the Naga Molten Edition but am afraid the finish is gonna wear off...please help me with my problem?

How is that mouse? I am afraid to buy it bc cm doesnt specialize in mice. Does the software work well? How bout the wear and tear? Does it hold up?

glassmats are discontinued, and the deathadder with wear off again, I kind of want to avoid that....

Mouse --> Logitech G9x if you want to go all out... it has just about everything you can ask for in a mouse. The only CON is that the two side mouse buttons are not as comfortable to use as my previous Razer Lachesis... but in every other category this mouse blows the competition out of the water IMO.

Mousepad --> XRAC Ripper all the way (I am on my second in 5+ years) This is the size I prefer, but they do make one that is smaller (obviously), and bigger (believe it or not lol).

I have the CM sentinel, and I've gotta say it feels great in my hands. Not good if you like claw gripping though.

A laser mouse that has known problems with cloth pads?
I think if you're going with Xai, go hard pad.
