I have a 1TB WD Passport that I use to store my movies. My buddy bought the same drive yesterday, and when I went to connect both of them, I was only able to see one drive on my laptop. I tried taking one out and then pugging the second in a different port, I re-named my drive to something else thinking the OS doen't like two drives named the same thing. Bottom line, the OS won't assign a drive letter to both external drives, only one. I tried going to the control panel, and I can see both drives, and also using the software I can see both drives, but while viewing the software that comes with the drives, one always states that there are no partitions on one of them when both are plugged in. I have them plugged into a different laptop, and there are no problems, I am copying the disk over to the new one. The laptop is a Toshiba Qosimo that is only a few months old. Any help is appreciated,

Thanks
