MSI ATI Radeon HD 6970 Lightning Twin Frozr III

Well, BFBC2 hasn't crashed with 2.0.0, after 30 mins of play. Plus, I'm not using any on-screen display for GPU heat..etc..etc..

Hope that helps.

System specs:

Can you try using an OSD On-Screen didsplay for the GPU heat, speed, fan, fps... and such?

Thank you in advance!!!

PS: Also, you have a link for 2.0.0 version?

I have two monitors, so I run MSIAB on one screen showing GPU temp, GPU usage, Fan Speed, Core Clock, Mem Clock, and BFBC2 on the other at the same time, with Ver 2.0.0. with no crash/freeze.

Thanks for the link, can you try using OSD On-Screen display just to test it out?

I would really appreciate it if you could do it

Could anyone try the version of MSI Afterburner 2.0.0 that MANFACE posted and see if they get any freezes with the OSD On-Screen Display please?

I can't test it my self right now

Sorry for the triple post, but I wanted to mention that so far I have played an hour and 30 minutes of BFBC2 with MSI Afterburner 2.0.0 (Using On-Screen Display too! ) and so far I haven't got any freeze / lock ups on my computer !

I will try a bit more before I can call a victory for our fight with Punkbuster, as I am not 100% sure that it fixed the problem, so I'll wait until I can see I played over 2 hours

A big thanks to MANFACE for pointing out that MSI Afterburner version! You probably have saved me many headaches!
