I'm making a thread comparing my results with donrapello's results.

We have both GTX 570's and very similar systems. Only he has a E8500 Dual Core and I have a Q9650. We're making sure we are clock for clock on both CPU, mem and Graphics cards. Also using same Nvidia Forceware

Hope to compare more benchmarks with him. These was originally posted in the **Official ASUS P5Q PRO Turbo/PRO/Turbo Owners Club** thread

ACHILEE5's 2600K@3.8GHz HT-Off VS Q9650@3.8GHz

My thread is to collect results in one post. So they don't get spread all over the **Official ASUS P5Q PRO Turbo/PRO/Turbo Owners Club** thread.

Hardware used:

turrican9:

Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, Q9650@4.05GHz, 2x2GB + 2x1GB Crucial Ballistix PC6400@900 5-5-5-15-PL10, Gigabyte GTX 570@850/2000, Intel X-25 160GB Gen.2 SSD for OS and 2x Intel 80GB X-25 Gen.1 in striping Raid 0 for games.

donrapello:

I5 2500K Socket 1155 System
i5-2500k @ 4040Mhz, 2x2Gb @ 1347Mhz CL8, Gtx 570 @ 850/2000mhz

E8500 Socket 775 System
Asus P5Q Turbo, E8500@4.05GHz, 2x2GB Team Xtreem Dark@900 5-5-5-15-PL10, POV GTX 570@850/2000 and 2 x WD 1Tb + 1 x 500Gb[/SIZE]

1920x1200 resolution used for all testing.

Note: It may be I throw in comparisons from a few other setups. Like I7's Sandybridges and such.

I will run Metro 2033 benchmark now... Do you have that game? I've just installed Update 2 for the game... gives me a benchmark tool..

I will run the benchmark according to this thread http://www.overclock.net/benchmarking-software-discussion/817064-metro-2033-benchmark-thread-using-official.html

However, if you have the game, you and I can run at other settings if we want...
