Stop suggesting us to re-install Windows 7, many people have already done that and still have the same freezes.

Sorry to hear that. What a total bummer.

If I happen to come across a sure-fire solution, I'll shoot it your way.

Thanks.

The only solution will probably be a new Punkbuster update, EA Forums has so many complaints about this issue, hundreds of players affected frown.gif

I had quited this game in Summer, and now I came back this week because I was enjoying so much Squad Team Deathmatch Hardcore, and looks like PB doesn't want me to play this game frown.gif

Alright, I've closed MSI Afterburner, and I was able to play for 3 hours in a row without any crash/freeze.

Looks like for some reason, after last Punkbuster's update last Wednesday (March 9th), there must be some incompatibility between Punkbuster, MSI Afterburner, and 6000 series cards from AMD.

Although I heard of people who can still use Afterburner without trouble in 6000 cards, and some which even if they close it, still have the issue, so I just think the stupid Punkbuster is being a prick with everyone sozo.gif

But yeah, good news is, I've been able to play 3 hours in a row with no crash/freeze, looks like it's fixed for me wheee.gif (For now, fingers crossed).

I agree with Lune.
It's not a 6xxx series problem nor is it an MSI AB problem. It's specifically PunkBuster and a component in Windows.

Some component in Windows is interfering with PunkBuster. That's why my other ATI-based computer with a fresh Windows 7 install plays on PB servers no problem.
