2 rx360 enough for this ?

Thread Starter
hi to all

here is my computer specs

mb : asus rampage 3 extreme
proc : I7 920 D0
crossfire ATI 5970

i'm wondering if 2 XSPC RX360 with gentle typhoon's pulling , is enough to cool both my cpu + graphics cards

and what if i overclock my cpu to 4ghz, and both 5970 to 950/1100 (725/1000 stock)
can i get good temps with 2 radiators or do i need more

as i never built before a cooling system, i have no clue about that
post #2 of 13
Yes 2 RX360 would be sufficient. Although you should take your gentle typhoons and do push instead of pull.

I have a 930 and a 5970 on 1 RX360 and my temps are mid 60's full load on my cpu and gpu around 75% while gaming.

2RX 360s are more than enough.

thanx guys for fast answers

and of course pushing not pulling

by the way they says everywhere that push/pull is better, but is it worth ?

and a last question, i have a cooler master silent pro 1000w psu , something is telling me that's not enough if i overclock everything

I think it's just a little overkill.

Yes overkill indeed.

But if you can fit both 360s why not?

One rx360 and 120-140 would do it also.

well, in fact, as every one know, the 5970 have a very heating VRM's when highly overclocked, that's why i need a powerfull cooling radiators, that can maintain good temps, that's why i prefer have more useless cooling power than not enough
add to that, the fact that, i'm not living in UK, temps here are much hotter

well, according to your comments, i'll try with just 1 RX360, and i'll see

again thanx to all for precious help
