Ram Upgrading Question..

Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade my rams from 4gbs to 8gbs but I'm confused.. does it matter if the rams are different voltages but have same memory and clocks? becuase my current rams are at 1.8 and the new ones they are selling at newegg are running at 1.65.

Good question. Why don't you get a similar kit? Voltage difference matters, but timmings is easier to change.

The 1.65v Dominators will not safely run at 1.8v. I suggest you sell the current sticks and get 2x4GB sticks.
