That being said, it doesn't seem like a huge issue anyway. They always nitpick at anything new from apple.
reminds me of that spongebob episode where he made the krusty dogs then tried to convince everyone the krusty dogs were bad for them, but yet no one cared

So they put in an old LCD in your new iPad?

no, probably should of worded it better.

i was just saying looking at that image i would've noticed it, if they hadn't put the arrow there, as for the other part, i have this "bleed" on a older lcd i own, that i use, and it is only noticeable when the lights are out and there is a dark color near the edge of where it occurs.

during the day or when the lights are on, i don't notice it in the slightest, with most of apps in iOS have black backgrounds, i would imagine it is why it is even noticed at all...

And no. Backlight bleed, if it were on a monitor, I'd send it back no matter what. I expect no bleed at all from my monitors or display devices.

There are no ear muffs for that. It's a defect, no amount of sugarcoating or "I dont notice it" will stop from the fact it is in fact, a tarnish. Just like a dead pixel on your brand new phone.

Thank-you good sir for pointing out my misuse of the English language, and shame on me for not proof reading before I clicked 'Submit Reply'. I would Rep+ you in gratitude, but I'm unable to at this time, for various reasons, most of them political...

As for my lcd issue, I am not in any way telling ipad2 owners to "deal" with it, it is something I do not notice, and the lcd is quite old, I would say well outside of its rma period.

I honestly would be disappointed if I purchased a device, and it had such "defect" in it, I would definitely take it back, either ask for a refund or replacement.

I myself, do not own a ipad2. I would imagine i would be slightly annoyed if I had a dead pixel, depending on where it was on the screen, if it was dead smack in the middle, might annoy me a lot, if it was near a corner, or edge, I would dismiss it myself, till they started to breed and multiply, if they ever did.

I'm sure to further "enrage" you, I do not notice dead/stuck pixels either...I'm sure I have a few, but I don't suffer from anal retentiveness apparently...ask your doctor, I'm sure they have medications for this.
