So is the 35x Considered a DDC or a class of it's own?

Under the relatively custom top, the 35X is basically a DDC3.25 modified for PWM, so yes.

Yeah, it's a DDC, but it's programmed to handle RPM differently than any other DDC currently on the market.

Not sure what to call it other than Swiftech 35X..it's different than a DDC 3.25 and more than just PWM control. The 35X holds around 4600RPM regardless of the restriction imposed where the DDC3.25 reduces RPM as restriction decreases.

Regarding noise, I just tried the "Suspend" on the 35X where it's floating between runs of tubing, works perfectly. No noise and no insulating the bottom/trapping heat. There is solid mounting, decoupling with some sponge like material, and suspension.

I think suspension is the ultimate noise killer, but I need to run some tests to show that. I just know it's working really well in my new rebuild.

I have the 35X mounted on a shoggy sandwich and even at full speed I have to put my ear right next to the pump to even hear the very low humming noise it makes. I just run the pump at 2500 rpm in everyday use, as it is so powerfull, so noise is not an issue at all.
