Afaik MX-2 is the best temperature wise and it's non-conductive, plus it doesn't need to set.

Many members here will swear by one paste or another. I'll just list a few good ones you can't go wrong with:
Arctic Silver 5
Innovation Cooling 7 (IC7)
Arctic Cooling MX-4

My favorite is Arctic Silver 5 because it's easier to apply, but IC7 seems to give 1-2ºC better temperatures.

AC5 takes upto 200hrs to cure though, so you might wana remember that before you OC too much. ive never used it, but im not sure if its a good idead to apply it, then OC right away.

Uncured AS5 has about 1ºC higher temperature than most TIM's, but as it cures it'll get better. In the end your choice of TIM doesn't matter as much as the correct application.

If you're quick, you can snatch up 1g of Shin Etsu for half off @ crazypc.com. Might need to pick up some fans or something to justify the shipping though.
