Asus m4a785td-m evo question

Thread Starter
I just build a computer for my mom.
it includes the mother board in the title and an athlon II x2 250 with my old Corsair XMS3 2x2 gig 1333mhz memory.
when i boot up the computer ( i disabled the boot logo ) and it goes into the boot screen (not sure of the name) and it takes longer than normal to load. im not sure if this is because of the slower cpu because i had my 955 in this motherboard before and this never happened. just wondering if there is a setting in bios to make it load faster possibly.

the screen that takes for ever to load is the one with all the options like going into bios ect.

Disable BIOS settings that were disabled before or not disabled yet....i.e. for optimizations? i.e. if you don't use IDE, disable IDE controller
The BIOS may have been reset with the new CPU?

iv checked all the obvious settings. i just dont understand why it takes so long to boot. i am using ide just for the cd writer because i built this thing so cheap using parts from my old computer plus stuff i had laying around. im really wondering if theres something less obvious in the settings that im missing. i disabled the logo because i had to manually press a button to go to the next screen to boot up which i did not have to do when i used this motherboard before.

this is probably a question thats harder to answer because its probably mother board specific.
