Don't you guys get tired of calling every techsite that favorably reviews Apple products (basically, all of them) as bias or untrustworthy? Do you really think you know better than everyone else? Particularly when you don't even own the product being reviewed? Or it's competitors for that matter? You might as well stick to Android-only news sites.

Take a look at this Boy Genius Report, mainly just the benchmarks:

http://www.bgr.com/2011/03/04/motoro...created-equal/

You'll notice that the LG Optimus, with the same specs as the Moto Atrix - except for screen res and RAM - spanks the Atrix because of the difference in resolution. Now in your head, scale those results up to tablet resolution. It's basically the same thing.

I don't understand the relevance of this post. The SGX543 is nowhere present there. If you are (mistakenly) comparing the Tegra 2 with the SGX540 and saying that the SGX540 is a suitable replacement for the SGX543, think again. The SGX540 is a previous gen. part; the SGX543 is a vast improvement on it.

He's comparing the Tegra 2 with an older gen. PowerVR SGX.

I know, he's pulling stuff out of his rear like always in Apple threads. I was just trying to demonstrate that two devices with similar specs but different screen resolutions WILL have noticeably different results.

And it's funny that the Optimus with less RAM and a lower res screen - something the Apple haters would easily call inferior or worthless - is killing in the benchmarks.

Anyways, everyone is using the Cortex A9 as their base sigh...

"Apple copied Samsung's Orion..." lol

Did you know that the Hummingbird is almost the same as the A4? Also the Snapdragon? Tegra 2 uses the A9 too? Wait I think HP did too? Oh also RIM!

So, in short, the iPad 2 outclasses everything else right now.
Apple's got a real winner in their hands. Outstanding hardware meets user friendly and slick software, just as with the iPhone.

Optimus 2x runs 2.3, Atrix runs 2.2.

854x480=409,920 Pixels
800x480=384,000 Pixels
Difference=25,920 Pixels or 6.75%

No. Just no. Don't put words into my mouth.

Tegra 2 was released January 2010, but the SGX543 was Jan 2009.

Anyways, the problem with the SGX543mp2 is that if devs even try to use it, what will happen to the fragmentation argument?

I also have to point out that the benchmark shows the iPad 2 at 170 MFLOPS, vs the Tegra 2 at 1.5ghz does 48 mflops. I then looked at iPad benchmarks and sure enough they do more mflops then the Tegra 2. Just strange...

Another thing: WHERE DID HE GET GLBENCHMARK 2.0? I really wanted to test it out on my sisters iPad 2 and I could only find GLBenchmark 1.1.
