Gigabyte EX58A-UD7 problem

Thread Starter
So, I've got this problem where every neccessary cable is plugged into the motherboard and it turns on, but nothing else happens. I mean, when I press the power button LEDs light up and the CPU fan gets going but nothing turns up on the screen. Whats wrong with it and how can I fix this?

As I've almost had this motherboard for a year now and i don't want to replace it.

Does the power cycle? Like start up and the fan spins for a second then shuts off and keeps doing that over and over again? I had that with my first X58-UD5 until I noticed I had a bent pin frown.gif RMA'd and all is well. Make sure your video card is in the top slot otherwise you will have to put it in the top slot and select the first display as the slot you want. Also try plugging the monitor into the other DVI port. What error code comes up on the motherboard readout? Maybe the video card? Monitor even.

As for Error code readouts, it shows nothing, i meant every single LED lights up so it shows : 8.8. in the Readout which means nothing in the manual...
