I got maybe 2-3c drop in temps. I really only got a second fan because one fan looks weak.

Dual fan ftw

What's ur rear exhaust fan? If it's fairly powerful, you could try mount it as the pull fan to see what you can get. Under push&pull, it doesn't matter so much if you don't have a dedicated rear exhaust fan.

Edit: I used to have a 212+ cooling an i7 875k. Push&pull with the same stock blademaster only give me around 2C difference under 4Ghz.

Rather just have another fan honestly.
Any difference between these two fan splitters?

and

Really looking towards the ebay one since it's cheaper and I can avoid the tax.

go with the e-bay one, they look the same to me...both 4-pin PWM

Anyway, I am using the CM Blademaster on the rear of my cooler and saw a 4 degree drop in temps. And I have an exhaust fan very close to the back of it. But that fan runs on my 3 pin header on a moderate/silent profile. The PWM fans on the CPU run according to the CPU temp, so having the splitter really helps.

Go for any fan you want, but the one's that come with the 212+ really are very good for the price

Thanks for the tip, but I'm probably just going to go ahead with it.
I have 20 bucks I wanna burn and may as well make them go toward some new fans, one side fan for my GPU and another fan for my new 212+.

One last question before we end this thread, my second fan should be blowing away from the heatsink correct?
