thanks for all the advice guys. I actually saw that I only paid 76 bucks for it. It was open box thats why. So I guess ill be returning this to newegg then since its only been about 13 days. They offer 30 day refund on it. Ill def be looking at something a little better quality. Is there another online source that you guys know of that offers better prices?

Newegg has always been my first choice as they're so nice to work with.

You'll be much happier I'm sure, and Asus does make top notch components too.

so i just got the usb 3.0 port on the mobo to recognize my adata 8gb usb 3.0 flash drive. But the thing is, with smaller files, around 2-3gb or less, the transfers are up over 100mb per sec. When i try to transfer files much larger 5 gb + the transfer begins to drop at around 30% complete to as low as 20 mb per sec. and it starts to take forever! also i have begun to notice that with this flash drive Ive been having this issue where at the end of the transfer the status window will say "5 seconds remaining", even though the transfer is complete. It hangs for a long time then disappears. the file remains intact and functions perfectly fine off the drive however.

So does anyone maybe know whats going on? I have all the stock bootup services running on windows 7 ult x64. have a usb 2.0 drive that does not do this.
