More demanding games, more RAM?

Thread Starter
As time goes on we all know that games will require more out of computers. I currently have 6 gigs of ram, but with newer games coming up, I'm thinking of getting 6 more. I'm already planning to upgrade GPU's, so no worries there..

Ram prices will continue to fall. I would hold off until you actually need it and save yourself a few bucks.

No, almost all games are still 32-bit and should use only 2GB. If they large address aware, the most a 32-bit game could use is 3-4GB.

No, RAM prices will not continue to fall indefinitely. There was a shock to the market for the last few months. Prices will increase again (just like they did with DDR2 a few years ago).

Once again...
