0x1a is a memory error. This suggests that your RAM is either faulty or unstable. Assuming that you left memory frequency and timings at default, they should not be unstable with the voltages I suggested. I suggest you run Memtest on them one at a time to confirm that they all work.

I had Memtest on during the night. I haven't tested each memory on their own yet, it's a bit tedious to do since I would have to remove my CPU fan each time I want to exchange a memory. I ran Memtest over night but it only managed to run 2 passes, however without no errors thus far. One thing I noticed though was that the timings according to Memtest was 9-9-9-25 instead of 9-9-9-24 as it says on the back of each card. But in the OC settings it said that it was about ~25 anyways, so I doubt that had anything to do with it crashing.

Edit:

I came to think about something, I haven't updated my firmware to the latest one and since the RAM I have now was released last year could it be that it can't run it because the firmware for my board is too old? Which firmware do you recommend upgrading to?

Sounds stable then. I've never had a faulty stick survive more than 5 minutes of Memtest.

Any ideas might cause the OC not to work then? Should I maybe take some screens from my set up or so that you might be able to see what the issue might be?

It sounds like a good old unstable CPU. I'd recommend just starting over and doing a new overclock.

I know it may all be old News I just Purchased this Board I got the B3 revision also wondering Which CPU I should Get Right now I am

moving and I have No idea when I can afford it after I move I`ll also need furniture and stuff like that. I read that I will not be able to run

my DDR3 over 1333 somewhere doing research I have Gskill 4x2 GB X.M.P, 1600 I was going to just get a cheap CPU for now to make

sure everything is updated and working right before I get what I really would like is Either a good used I5 2500K or better an I7 2600K I

would like to know how nice either one of those may overclock on this board. I never use anything like this except bios overclocking I

been doing for 15 years and now There is no North Bridge I guess every thing is on the CPU I get I was thinking a Pentium G 3 GHZ

area for starters. Any adviise will suffice.wink.gif

EDIT: Purchased an i3 2100 to make sure everything was working now have the newest version available of the bios uefi and in two Days I should have an i5 2500K in my hands I hope things work as expected.

Get CPU-Z and go to the SPD tab and check which slots have RAM in them. Then you'll know which stick of RAM isn't being detected.

Old build here, like 7 years old, wow how time flies. For many years a stable overclock at 45, but the past 2 weeks, especially when it's warm in the room (like about 75 degrees and up), I get BSOD code 124. I looked at the BIOS and simply adjusted the OC down to 40.
