I agree with the first line, not the 2nd line

The Best card for his budget is this GTX 570.
I like AMD and all but this list proves my point:

I notice that the specs of all nvidia cards right now are pathetic compared to the 6970 and such ...is that relevant?

The problem you'll have is you'll have 2 montors connected to your new GPU. Then you'll need to have a second GPU in for the other screens, i'm not sure how drivers will deal with that, especially using different resolutions. Also, spec's between the two cards are irrelevant, they are two completely different architectures, it's like matching an AMD PII x4 965 to an i7... It just doesn't work

The Only thing that is relevant is the Frames per second at your resolution that a card can provide for you, forget the specs, this list makes it easy to see which card is better than the other:

And stop double posting, use your refresh button, and edit a post before you post another after your own.

You could probably use it as a physx card.

Also, this chart here is a lil' more official.

http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html

With miles more cards tested than the list previously posted.

A GTX 570 beats a 6970, get the Asus I linked before and use your GTS 250 as physx card or just fold with it.

A 6970 would be the best bet as it is the only card talked about so far that can drive more than 2 monitors. Don't expect to max out 4 screens of crysis but all that off one card is still cool.

Also the extra VRAM will make a HUGE difference when playing more than one monitor. In some games you can max a GTX 580 (1.5gb ram) with one screen but the 6970 has room to spare. Even if you play less memory intensive games, it will add up fast with multiple monitors.

6970s scale nearly perfectly in crossfire. Buy one now for ~$320 and another down the road when you think you need more power. What could you do with that extra $80?

Hope this helps
